Ingredients include skin conditioning vitamins A, C and E. The A vitamin retinyl palmitate, a salt of retinol, is often used in skincare to have a smoothing effect and reduce the occurrence of fine lines and wrinkles. Antioxidants vitamins C and E both contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Vitamin E also contributes to the formation of a protective barrier on the skin.

Botanical heroes

The borage seed oil in replenishing skin oil both softens and conditions the skin. It also has a soothing effect, and is suitable for dry and irritated skin. Ingredients also include skin conditioning safflower seed oil, which adds radiance and rehydrates dry skin, as well as soothing, softening bisabolol from Eremanthus, a kind of Asteraceae that grows in Brazil.
